My role is to provide physical support for you and emotional support to you and your partner. Some examples are continuous phone support, learning physical comfort techniques like massage, breathing techniques, hospital bag prep, belly masks and casts, and so much more personalized supports for each birth journey. We will go into all options available for you to make informed decisions to create the best birth and postpartum plans for your family.

Your birth experience should be positive and memorable in the best ways. I will be here to advocate for your wants and needs during labor. We will navigate the birth utilizing the birth plan we create together. I will be in constant and close proximity to you throughout labor and delivery. I will provide breathing and relaxation techniques, counter-pressure, rebozo support and different laboring positions, and also support, encourage, guide and reassure your partner.

Support doesn't stop at the delivery of your sweet babe. The postpartum period is perhaps the most overlooked time of critical care for mom as your beautiful baby is now the star. As a postpartum doula I provide evidence-based information and support on basic infant care, infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from childbirth, belly binding, light housekeeping, child care, night nursing, meal prep and much more personalized to your journey.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss
1 in 4 women will lose a baby during pregnancy, delivery, or infancy. Hiring a doula in the third trimester can decrease chances of loss by 30%. I am a full spectrum doula with a specialization in bereavement. With a personal connection to loss it is important to me that I am able to walk with parents in support through grief and loss including a threatened or confirmed pregnancy loss, preparation for still birthday and infant loss. I will help interpret medical jargon, attend appointments or ultrasounds, memorialize your child in any way you choose, provide miscarriage kits, provide postpartum kits, and any other personalized services.
